Either the VR element is a pretty straight port from the PC version with little additional optimisation for PSVR, and the Pro in particular, or - PSVR is just not up to rendering this level of detail effectively. Why? I am thinking this is due to one of two reasons. It is less blurry than DC, but not by a huge margin.
Also, playing on the Pro, I expected a bigger leap as pro-support is fully implemented in this title.
Graphics: I was a little disappointed on this front, I guess I was expecting more. My first impressions after a few hours play. The game goes back to the title menu but that didn't do it for me I did find I had to restart the game to be able to activate VR tho. Oh yeah I also bought the Dlc through the game menu itself, dunno if that might help some people getting the whole 'game required' message. Good idea!Īll in all CM have done an awesome job for the price It does this black out effect when you crash which I think reduces the chance of it and actually disorientates you in a good way. It's a great alternative when you can't be bothered to set your wheel up It's the only thing it's missing and would be great to see them added, it's pretty vital imo having got used to it in driveclub. I'm on a pro and the fidelity is good, the dashboard is sharper and they don't seem to have actually removed anything like weather or effects, just dialled them down Just a few things I noticed - you can actually enable ALL views in the menu system, I think it's in the HUD options, a few things are turned off by default but I didn't find turning them on caused discomfort, if anything aspects of the other views felt weird - although with dashboard view if you recenter then move back you actually get the whole car with no driver - you can really move around to get the view you like.
